Morinaga Ice Box Training Day‏

Morinaga's Ice Box is flavored ice which is sold in convenience stores and it popular during the hot summer months. As part of their marketing to kids involved in sporting events, Morinaga is holding a sports training day for elementary school students in both Tokyo and Osaka. Six hundred kids will be chosen at random from all those who enter by sending in 2 proof-of-purchase seals.

Suntory Yasahii Boss‏

Suntory has introduced a new version of its popular Boss canned coffee brand. This is called "Yasashii Boss" or "Nice Boss", but can also be read as meaning a mild tasting Boss brand coffee. The copy describes it as being perfect as an afterwork coffee. Once again playing on the double meaning, it says "depending not only on strength, this is the best Boss".

Suntory has introduced a zero calorie dry taste version of 7up aimed at working men. It advertises a dry taste, zero calories, added caffeine (70 mg per 350 ml) and the classic lemon-lime taste.

Sapporo CJ Mango Makkori (or Makgeolli)

Sapporo will be introducing a new flavor for its CJ Makkori (or Makgeolli) line, Mango. CJ is Korea's largest makkori maker and goes through Sapporo in Japan. The product advertises 3% alcohol, 3% mango puree and a trio of no additives (no sweeteners, no added sour taste and no flavorings).
